Jim Henson and I discuss the upcoming season of Muppet Babies at a party he threw at Ed Debevic's in Hollwood in honor of the Fifties motif of the Muppet Babies Theme. Below Janis Liebhart and Alan O'Day with Jim at the same gathering.
Between the Anniversary Game and coming to Los Angeles, I spent eighteen months doing full time photography. Below, one of my favorite shots of Suzanne Somers at 24 for her first book of poetry, Touch Me. Suzanne and her husband, Alan Hamel are perhaps my oldest and dearest friends in show business. It was only years later, after her "Keeping Secrets" autobiography, she and I realized we had grown up in different versions of the same alcoholic household, her dad, my mom. Somehow, we think we each always knew, as if in some unspoken language children of alcoholics can communicate that fact without speaking. Often to such kids growing up seems like such work, almost like further punishment .
Below, the child-like Suzanne.
